Coming Home to the Heart with Richa Badami

Richa Badami book coverYour presence is requested on April 2nd at my lifestyle boutique and sanctuary for a special Goddess book signing and celebration of my dear friend Richa Badami, whose latest book is Coming Home to the Heart – Transforming Trauma into Infinite Possibilities for Healing.

In this courageous and deeply inspiring memoir, Richa shares how she overcame the psychic damage inflicted on her for years in the form of sexual abuse that began when she was only a child. Because of cultural taboos that denied her treatment for her trauma, Richa mustered formidable inner resources to engineer her own healing. Through sheer determination, painful step by painful step, she rediscovered her capacity for joy, love, and, most important, an ability to forgive.

Coming Home to the Heart traces her path to recovery and a wholesome, fulfilling life, and teaches readers how they can utilize similar transformative tools to help find their own way back to peace.

Richa was there for me when I really needed her help in coping with my divorce from my best friend and soulmate. I know that Richa’s journey will inspire you in the same way that it did for me.  Click here to RSVP if you would like to attend. Space is very limited so be sure to do it soon. I am looking forward to seeing you.

Much Love Always,

Are Your Emotions Getting in the Way?

Richa BadamiFor the past 12 months, I have been going through a major spiritual awakening. At the moment, I am on such a high and everything is so intense.  One day is calm and harmonious, the next day is exciting and in chaos and full of emotions, good and bad.  It’s as though before I reach my own eternal bliss, I have to detox and do some house cleaning of my mind, body, and soul.  Crazy huh? This is what is going on for me.  My intention this year is to continue working on myself to reach enlightenment.  How powerful is that?  Especially the re-launching of my Polished by tu-anh agency this spring,  I must be the walking example for my clients and my team.  It’s not easy, but I am having the time of my life doing it and learning so much about myself.

My whole life – even when I was a very young child – I have been emotional and sensitive to energy both negative and positive in the world around me.  I used to wonder how some of my friends and family did it.  They can just stayed calm about everything and express hardly any emotions, whereas I tend to lose my marbles when I am around negative people and energy. 🙂

Over the past year, I have been working with Richa Badami alongside doing my yoga and meditation practice.  All have helped me to balance out my emotions.  This is a process and a journey that I am committed to being on, and I will be sharing with you some of Richa’s wisdom along the way.  I hope you take a few moments today to watch her video below, “Is There Emotional Interference In Your Life?”  And then ask yourself that very question!  By the way, make sure to check out her I AM retreat this spring.  I went to it last year and it was great!  I will be sending my team to it later this year.  Enjoy!
