Holiday Shopping is Your Therapy at the Goddess Sanctuary

Happy Friday! Holiday gift shopping can be quite stressful and energy draining, but not if you experience it the Goddess way. You will not want to shop anywhere else. Your shopping experience with us will not only be fun, but very therapeutic and soul-awakening. And if you are blessed, I may be there and treat you with some extra little wonderful surprises. Below are some recent photos to inspire you during this Holiday season. Try red and be bold for a change!

For the Love of a Red Dress

Nothing better than being in a red dress surrounded by all things masculine!

With the hot summer coming soon, I am looking forward to the warm sexy days where I can just toss on a beautiful dress and my hand-made Grecian sandals, and out the door I go.  I have always loved the ease and feminine appeal of dresses, and red is one of my favorite hues.  There’s something about a woman in a red dress that is so powerful and alluring, don’t you think?

Take a look at the mini film below that is part of my new tu-anh Boutique YouTube video series. In it, I’ve styled model Alex Marie in a long, sexy cotton Greek Goddess dress, which is perfect for hot summer nights out, a Sunday brunch in Alexandria, or a sexy date at home with yourself on the couch with champagne and candlelight.  Or, if you are having a day where you don’t feel your best self, I suggest you put on something with the color red. Doing so boosts your confidence, your power, and your passionate side, and helps you awaken your inner feminine divine.  Doesn’t Alex Marie look like she is ready to take on the world in my video below?

How are you styling your wardrobe for the summer? Is there red in your closet? I always love the fashion inspiration my fans provide, as well as the inspiration from the places I travel to!

The red section is a staple at our sanctuary.

How Balanced is Your Root Chakra?

The heart knows.

The heart knows.

You may be hearing the word “chakra” more and more these days as people are more open to holistic ways of improving health and well being, but the concept of chakras goes back for centuries.  The root chakra, associated with the color red, is known as the first chakra or “Muladhara.”  According to multiple sources, Mula means “root” and Adhara means “support” or “base.”  The element of this chakra is earth, and it is located at the base of the spine. This is where our grounding is, and building a solid foundation is essential to supporting our growth and everything else that we will do in life.

Just like a plant, the deeper and stronger our root, the more we will be able to endure challenges, struggles, hardships, and withstand rain or storm. When this chakra is open and balanced, we feel secure and stable in life, our bodies feel healthy and our minds clear and alert. We feel confident in who we are and are able to manifest our visions and dreams easily. I think that is why this particular chakra resonates so much with me.

To keep this chakra open and healthy, I like to have the presence of the color red around me, and to keep up my regular yoga routine, goddess walks, and dancing activities. How is your root chakra? Need a check up? Come by the sanctuary and I will help you find out. xo
