Fashion, Flowers, and Sensuality

I have shared with you in a recent blog post that besides fresh-smelling herbs, flowers are one part of nature that I cannot live without. Wherever I am, fresh flowers are always present. Flowers add immediate beauty to your surroundings, and can uplift your spirit and brighten your days even through times of stress and sadness.  My home and work space is always filled with flowers, no matter the season or weather. I get so inspired by their dreamy petals, their freshness, their vibrant colors, and their heavenly fragrances.  In fact, I don’t remember ever coming up with magical ideas and feeling so free and creative without flowers being very close by….When I am on holiday, I also make sure that flowers are part of the decor and ambiance of wherever I am lodging. I amorously call flowers my best friends because of the good Feng Shui and positive energy they bring into my life, as well as numerous other healing and health benefits. And most importantly, flowers awaken the sensuality within me.

Being with flowers is not only a spiritual experience for me, but they also remind me to stay in touch with my inner goddess and honor my femininity. I hope you like the little film clip below, featuring the luminous Style Goddess Julianne in one of our flowered ponchos. I filmed it on my goddess retreat in Mexico earlier this year.  If this doesn’t make you want to stop and smell the flowers, I don’t know what will! 🙂 Flowers teach us how to fall in love with pleasure all over again and to savor the special little things. When you introduce flowers into your surroundings, you cannot help but feel like you are living inside a prettier, happier, more creative, and more romantic life. For those of you who are on the more reserve side, flowers can soften your personality and make you feel more charming and flirtatious, too!

Well my lovies, how are you presently incorporating flowers  into your life?  And what are your favorite types to keep around the house? Mine are peonies, orchids, roses, and lillies 🙂

Now time for some pampering. Go out and buy yourself some flowers and let’s celebrate you!

Peonies are my favorite flowers. They look so feminine, powerful and full of life!

Beauty In A Venus Garden

Peonies represent feminine beauty and nobility. In full bloom, they represent peace.

Want to know what pleases a Taurus goddess? Taurus is ruled by Venus, the goddess of love, beauty, sensuality, and harmony. So that should give you enough to think about. There are many things that a Taurus goddess loves and desires. Since I am a Taurus myself, I thought I would share with you something that pleases me below, flowers from my Venus garden. I have been nurturing them from roots and seeds for the past 5 years and now I get to take pleasure in the rewards of my hard work of love. So beautiful, are they not? You can always visit our sanctuary and experience them in person, too. Our goddess sanctuary for the public is filled with them at the moment and so is my personal goddess sanctuary, and that makes me happy. 🙂

Peonies for good Feng Shui.

photo (6)

Freshly picked from the garden.

We all know I love flowers.  But my absolute favorite is the peony.

Besides their fluffy and voluptuous blooms and their pretty scent, here are the other reasons why I love peonies…

They symbolize riches and honor.  In the Chinese culture, they are good feng shui which is why you see them everywhere and in paintings as well.
They also embody romance and happy relationship.  Who would not want that?
They are perennials.  This is what gets me excited every year during the month of May. They fill my garden with their beautiful blooms.

Below are photos I took of the peonies in the garden.  All you really need to do is love and nurture them and they will just fill your garden with beauty.

The color is so rich and lush, this is where I get the inspiration for my flower pins.

I like decorating my home and office with them.

You can mix them with roses in a simple an artistic arrangement.
