A Day of Shopping in Capri, Italy

You know how much I love island life, which is why getting away to the clean air of the Mediterranean is a must for me every year, especially because I love being around water. It calms me, heals me, and, at the same time, rejuvenates me. Could it be that being a Taurus Earth goddess I need the water energy to keep me alive and balanced?

While I was in the Amalfi Coast recently, my must-do was a day trip to Capri for some shopping on the Capitano private boat ride. It was quite fun and refreshing. Capri is a colorful little island not very far at all from Naples.

It was a therapeutic and productive day.  Instead of taking the bus to the shops, I walked up the little narrow paths and alleys just so I could enjoy everything. Besides, it was good for my Root Chakra, too. I will show you pretty photos in later posts.

The weather was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious. And the fashions were clean, vibrant, luxurious, and simple in design. The people were stylish and glamorous without looking too polished and perfect.

I hope you like my photos of Capri fashion boutique windows in this post and what I brought back for our Fashion Sanctuary from Capri, too! Thank goodness for the iPhone. Makes life so much easier! We have been styling the Capri Collection on our boat outings here in Washington, DC along the Potomac River, too!

Picture Perfect Positano, Italy

Did you like my recent post on shopping, walking, and eating in Sorrento? Italy is one of my favorite countries to explore for the next few years. So let’s continue our tour of the Amalfi Coast with a stop in fashionably chic and picturesque Positano!

Like the architecture and lush greenery that are part of the cliffs in this village, the fashions and accessories are earthy, fresh, romantic, and full of life. I love that a lot is focused around natural fibers and materials such as silk, cotton, leather, and linen. And just like the Greek Islands, the color white is everywhere in the shops and cafes. It not only keeps you feeling cool in the sun, but white repels negativity, helping to clear away dark energy around you and keeping your vibrations high.

I hope you are inspired by these photos to stay clean and fresh this summer by adding a touch of the Positano lifestyle to your daily routine, making it more simple, romantic, and alive.  If you are in Old Town Alexandria on a Friday or Saturday, make sure to stop by our sanctuary and check out our Positano Collection from my recent trip or shop it online! Stay tuned for more from my Italian travels…

Shopping, Walking…Eating in Sorrento

Whites and neutrals in natural fibers are musts!

Did you know Sorrento, Italy has ruins dating back to 600 BC? You know how much I love the Eternal City of Rome, so on my recent buying trip to Italy, I made sure to head south by train to the charming and picturesque seaside town of Sorrento.  And I was definitely not disappointed!

Shopping was interesting and a lot of fun! I found so many pretty and unique styles of dresses and tops made from linen, cotton, and silks for our goddess fans. The food was delicious and the people were very friendly, especially the titans! 🙂 I enjoyed my walks throughout the town, and I so loved seeing the different styles of architecture. Like many places in Italy, the fashion is well constructed, timeless, and unbelievably stylish.  And the food – what can I say?  Fresh and delicious!

I hope you like the photos in this post. I will be sharing with you more of Italy in the next few posts. Are you inspired to do some Italian travels now?

Dresses, hat, and soft leather walking boots…All purchased in Sorrento!

Effortless, comfortable, and simple…

This is really how colorful the town is in real life!

Goddess and titan fashion should be relaxed, polished, and easy!

Seriously, this was my typical daily eats.

Do you like your titan to match your style? I do! 🙂

This is always my favorite after dinner and before my evening stroll around town.

I wish more goddesses would embrace this look here at home.

Wine and watching the sunset by the pool…my daily must!
