My Oscar 2016 Goddess Fashion Favorites

Charlize Theron close upDid you watch the Oscars fashion this past Sunday? So what did you think of it? If I am being honest I have to say that I was a little bit…bored.  There were plenty of lovely dresses and well-styled hair and polished makeup, but so many of the celebrities seemed to stay on the safe side instead of embracing their own personal goddess style and expression.

I did have a few looks that I like below. The most striking for me was Charlize Theron, whose dress, hair, and makeup really caught my attention.  I love the goddess-like draping of this dress. The neckline is very sexy and fitting of her body and the red is super hot and powerful, and you know how much I adore the color red! Who did you think embraced the goddess style and aura the most?

My Favorite 2016 Grammy’s Hair and Makeup

Taylor Swift

I don’t think Taylor ever looks bad. For someone so young, she has such timeless and sophisticated taste and the red lips speaks a lot about her goddess confidence.

Selena Gomez

Selena ‘s eye makeup is a little heavy, but her soft and goddessly hair full of body balanced it out well.

Ciara

Ciara looks perfect here. I would not change a thing.

Ellie Goulding

I love Ellie’s makeup and hair, but the necklace does not do much for me.

Serayah

Serayah’s hair and makeup is so flawless. The lip color is very fitting of her coloring.

Demi Lovato

I like Demi’s clean looking face and naturally styled hair.

Z Lala

I don’t understand her statement outfit, but Z Lala’s make-up I like.

My Favorite Red Carpet Looks 2014

So did everyone watch the Oscars last night?  I was working and watching at the same time.  I was quite impressed with the fashions overall – nothing was too overdone or in poor taste.  The men all looked polished as well.  One of the prominent trends from last night that stood out for me was the frosted embellished shimmering nudes.  See some of my favorites below…

Lupita

This goddess look on Lupita Nyong’o was my #1 favorite, not to mention that her speech made me cry. The pale blue Prada dress was a beautiful contrast against her skin. Her make-up was perfect The jewelry and accessories were simple and elegant. I love the clean nails, too. Just divine, pure, and sweet.

jennifer

Jennifer Lawrence looked stunning in this bright Dior Dress.  The make-up looks good, the hair is clean and away from her face – a little too old for her in my opinion, but she has the face for it, so does not really matter.

This Alexander McQueen is very feminine and stunning on Sandra, one of her best that I have seen. I also love the blue. I am not crazy about the matching nail polish. I think she could have kept it sheer silver and shimmery.

Goldie

Does Goldie Hawn ever age?  She looked amazing! I don’t really care for the necklace and the eyes could be a little smokier and more intense so she does not look so pale, but overall, I like this.

Karen

Another elegant, sexy, and sophisticated look. If you are bigger than a C cup, it may look a lot different, probably more like a bombshell rather than sleek and elegant.

Kate

Like mother like daughter.  She looked absolutely gorgeous. Make-up, hair, accessories, nail color….all just perfect.

Louise

This look is soft, sexy, and like an earthy goddess. But with this style, if you are under 5’5 and fuller chested, it would not look as good. It’s definitely for the slim figured woman.

bradley

Out of all the male actors from last night,  Bradley Cooper was my favorite. I have the biggest crush on him, so I guess it does not matter what he wears, he will always look hot to me! 🙂
