Jeans and Jazz on the Potomac

Clear blue sky and wonderful view of the Lincoln Memorial.

I had so much fun this past Sunday evening spending quality time with some of my favorite goddesses and fans dancing the night away on the Potomac at Jeans and Jazz – On the Water benefiting We Will Survive Cancer. The music was good to dance to, the view was nice to look at, and the sunset was beautiful! Oh and the Belly Dancer,  Asala El-Masri, was gorgeous and seductive!

With my busy schedule and so many causes in Washington DC Area, I can’t give all my time away without making time for me. So I usually am selective about what events to attend and support. Jeans and Jazz on the Water will take place again next Summer and I hope to have you join me there.

Below are some photos from the event in case you are interested.

Gorgeous Persian Goddess Karen Sami is the heart behind this fun event with the cute bartenders!

I love these two goddesses! Gayela, on the right is the Founder of We Will Survive Cancer!

It’s not a goddess photo unless a titan sneaks in.

Gorgeous goddess bombshells!

The Iphone 7plus is not so bad for night time.

Live Opera at the Goddess Sanctuary?

IMG_4279

I love listening to Opera on my Sunday morning nature walks.

When I was about 12, I loved watching the opera performances on PBS, and my brothers used to think I was strange for listening to it. But it did not matter – I still listened anyway.

I love all kinds of music, but opera really opens my heart and awakens my soul. My favorite time to listen to opera is Sunday morning when I am just lounging at home without rushing anywhere or still in bed daydreaming and smiling about life. I hope one day I will attract a manly Titan that appreciates opera and beautiful music as much as I do 🙂

At my goddess sanctuary, there is always something interesting going on. But my most favorite is bringing live opera goddesses to our events to entertain our shoppers. Below is a little sampling of what goes on at the goddess sanctuary featuring the beautiful former Miss DC 2009, Jen Corey and the talented Krista M. Clouse. You will have to come to an event soon and experience it for yourself.

How to Bring Out Your Inner Pin-Up Goddess…

Here is Carol's famous winning Pin-Up image by Portland Pin-Ups.

My personal manager, Carol in her famous winning image by Portland Pin-Ups.

Marilyn, Brigitte, Sophia, Elizabeth, Betty – are these names ringing a bell to you?  They should!  Men adore and worship them and women want to be like them.  These classic Pin-Up goddesses, known for their beauty, their seductive poses, their flirtatious glances, and their sexy alluring smiles with sparkles of innocence in their eyes were my inspiration growing up. I was fascinated by their tasteful, sophisticated, yet sexually appealing and feminine style. I love the voluptuousness and the confidence they exuded from the photographs and illustrations they modeled in. Of course, the photographers and artists had a lot to do with that as well.

Besides learning how to act and look like a lady (goddess) and embracing my feminine power from my Mother, I also looked to these Hollywood starlets who played a big part in my teens and young adult life. They have then and still now inspire me to create fashion that is beautiful, timeless, feminine, unique, and tastefully alluring. That is why I have a full library of Pin-Up books in my personal collection, and now I am sharing it with the public through one of my favorite publishers, Taschen. You can find some of my favorite Pin-Up books in our goddess sanctuary and online.

I love the sensuousness and the glam that these goddesses are about.  I hope these books and images will inspire more modern-day women to embrace their femininity and sensuality by allowing their inner goddess to be awakened, and most importantly, let the hair grow. 🙂

Oh, and P.S. I hope you like the photo of my assistant above by Portland Pin-Ups. She sure knows how to pose like a Pin-Up, does she not? 🙂
