Fashion, Flowers, and Sensuality

I have shared with you in a recent blog post that besides fresh-smelling herbs, flowers are one part of nature that I cannot live without. Wherever I am, fresh flowers are always present. Flowers add immediate beauty to your surroundings, and can uplift your spirit and brighten your days even through times of stress and sadness.  My home and work space is always filled with flowers, no matter the season or weather. I get so inspired by their dreamy petals, their freshness, their vibrant colors, and their heavenly fragrances.  In fact, I don’t remember ever coming up with magical ideas and feeling so free and creative without flowers being very close by….When I am on holiday, I also make sure that flowers are part of the decor and ambiance of wherever I am lodging. I amorously call flowers my best friends because of the good Feng Shui and positive energy they bring into my life, as well as numerous other healing and health benefits. And most importantly, flowers awaken the sensuality within me.

Being with flowers is not only a spiritual experience for me, but they also remind me to stay in touch with my inner goddess and honor my femininity. I hope you like the little film clip below, featuring the luminous Style Goddess Julianne in one of our flowered ponchos. I filmed it on my goddess retreat in Mexico earlier this year.  If this doesn’t make you want to stop and smell the flowers, I don’t know what will! 🙂 Flowers teach us how to fall in love with pleasure all over again and to savor the special little things. When you introduce flowers into your surroundings, you cannot help but feel like you are living inside a prettier, happier, more creative, and more romantic life. For those of you who are on the more reserve side, flowers can soften your personality and make you feel more charming and flirtatious, too!

Well my lovies, how are you presently incorporating flowers  into your life?  And what are your favorite types to keep around the house? Mine are peonies, orchids, roses, and lillies 🙂

Now time for some pampering. Go out and buy yourself some flowers and let’s celebrate you!

Peonies are my favorite flowers. They look so feminine, powerful and full of life!

May Flowers Brought to You by April Showers

I love walking around town after the rain when the flowers are on the ground.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, the great American transcendentalist poet said, “The earth laughs in flowers.” I agree with this romantic poet profoundly because flowers bring me so much joy. If I had a magic wand, my life would be filled with fresh flowers everywhere I go. And lately, I have seen this actually happening. My love for flowers is so strong, they are popping up all around me more than ever – a life framed in flowers! Flowers make a space more inviting and welcoming and brighten our day if we have been stressed, anxious, or going through times of sadness. When I am in the presence of flowers, I feel even more beautiful, more feminine, and more loving than usual, or simply just beaming with smiles for no reason.  I love that, before welcoming the new, April brings so many rain showers that heal and cleanse the soul and the outdoor surroundings, and nourish the roots of all plants and trees, bringing about the mesmerizing transformation of God’s creations right before our very own eyes.

I always have fresh plants and flowers all over my house, even during the cold winter months – they bring peace, balance, and harmony to my very crazy, fun, creative life. And this is why it is important to have fresh flowers in your work space, too, because of their silent strength and beautiful power. A flower is God’s Love and gift of purity to us. Flowers want nothing in return except for us to adore and admire them. They exist to bring us pleasure, brighten our days, warm our hearts and fill our environment with their heavenly scents.

For my ladies, try putting a flower in your hair and revel in how happy and feminine it will make you feel. Buy some flowers for your honey, be they a Goddess or a Titan. We all love to receive flowers! Lovingly gaze at yourself in the mirror holding some flowers against your hair, your skin, and your eyes. Don’t wait around for someone to bring you flowers; gift them to yourself. Self love is the most sacred love of all. Please trust me – you will start to experience some magic within you that you never knew you had.

I would like to invite all my Goddesses and Titans to take a magical walk this evening or tomorrow evening under the full moon. This moon is very special to me. It is called the “Flower Moon,” the first full moon in May, the month of Venus, the month I was born, and the month of International Goddess Day on May 15th. The Flower Moon was given its name by Native Americans for its red glow and the way it shines its light on all the flowers which reach their peak by May.

In April, all the rain came as a prelude to a parade of flower fantasies which delight us during the month of May. It is a time of great harvest and gorgeous fields of color from all the beautiful blooms which have reached their full glory. Buddhists also celebrate this May full moon, which for them is the start of “Vesak,” a sacred holiday that is a magical celebration of the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha. Flowers are the most enlightened state of being for a plant, and I would love for you to go out for a moonlit stroll alone, with your sweetheart, or with your dog tonight and enjoy the Flower Moon’s magic and light, the gateway to my being.

Love Always… tu-anh

P.S. I hope you enjoy the photos of my beautiful garden flowers I grew from roots.

This is our signature lotus pink that I love so much…

How rich is this spiritual purple?

I love seeing these pink beauties bloom, and I grew them from roots.

A great book to read from our Goddess library collection of books.

Longest Living Sleeping Chihuahua

Nini sleeping in the car during rush hour traffic to work with me.

While Megabyte (what a name!) might be the longest-living Chihuahua officially on record, I think my beloved Nini could definitely beat that record.  Nini is my spiritual animal, and the longest, most loyal, dedicated relationship I have had in my life, second to the one with my parents.  I attribute her longevity not just to the usual things – lots of love and high-quality, clean food, not to mention that I cook real delicious human food for her as well – but also to her surroundings and lifestyle.  What are her secrets for such longevity?  Below are just a few.

  1. Comfort Luxury: If she is not sleeping with me in my comfortable bed, then she is sleeping somewhere in her own little chihuahua luxury. This is important for napping and resting (of which she does daily and almost too much), and also for her joints.  She loves nothing more than circling around and curling up in her beds, and she is just the cutest ever!
  2. Beautiful Surroundings: Just like her goddess mistress, she likes her place of rest to be clean, simple, zen, and free from clutter with pretty plants and flowers. That is why she is so calm and never stressed or anxious like other dogs I have been around.
  3. Classical Music: I love all kinds of music, but what I listen to most often at work and at home in the background is classical or beautiful New Age and World Jazz playing in the background.  And if Nini is around me, she always gets the pleasure of that, too. It keeps me calm and at peace.
  4. Aromatherapy for a sense of zen: I am a lover of all things natural and created by God and Mother Nature. I try my best to live as clean and free from chemicals and dirty polluted air as possible. I am also very sensitive to unpleasant smells. So I love using essential oils to keep my work and home smelling luxurious and heavenly while healing and giving balance to my chakras, as well as harmonizing and promoting good health for my body, mind, and spirit.  Nini is blessed to be experiencing this along with me.
  5. Children Love: You already know I love children because they are such beautiful and pure little angelic souls, and they are so uplifting to be around. Besides, children keep us young and on our toes. Nini loves affection and is surrounded by adorable sweet children daily when I take her for her walks. The little children in the park always run up and ask me if they can hold her, touch her, pet her, give her kisses and rub her soft and voluptuous body. It is as though she gets free massages daily and it is not always from me. 🙂
  6. Goddess Pet Bath Luxuries: Lastly, once a week, I give Nini a relaxing and soul awakening bath with my body luxury products made from natural flowers, herbs, and oils which are good for both humans and animals alike!

I believe any of these are things that you, too, can do to live a long and zen life.  Why not take some time out for a luxurious bath and some aromatherapy one evening?  Nini would join you if she could. 🙂

When it is cold out, Nini refuses to walk. I often have to carry her 🙂
